Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2025

GoalBreak is designed to help you break goals into actionable tasks without distractions. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled. We keep it short because we do not collect much.

1. Data We Collect

  • Google account details needed to sign you in and maintain your session. Goals and tasks remain temporary in this version and are not synced to a GoalBreak account.
  • Anonymous usage analytics — page views and interaction events collected via Vercel Analytics. No personally identifiable information is included.
  • AI prompt content — when you submit a goal or request a task breakdown, the text is sent to the Vercel AI Gateway and processed by the configured language model provider. It is subject to their data retention policies.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not store your goals or tasks in a GoalBreak account at this stage.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
  • We do not use cookies for tracking.

3. Third-Party Services

GoalBreak uses Vercel for hosting and analytics, and the Vercel AI Gateway to process language model requests. Each service operates under its own privacy policy. AI prompt data sent through the gateway may be processed by providers such as OpenAI or Anthropic depending on the configured model.

4. Data Storage

Goals and tasks are held only for the current page session. We do not yet save them to a GoalBreak account or sync them to a GoalBreak server.

5. Children's Privacy

GoalBreak is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of GoalBreak after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
